An abbey-style ale yeast for strong beers, offering rapid fermentation and balanced aroma.
How to use
One 11.5g sachet treats about 20–30L; ferment at 12–25°C, ideally 15–20°C, according to the recipe.
Helpful information
Remove beer from the yeast promptly after fermentation where the supplier recommends preserving aroma.

- SafAle K-97 – German ale strain with low esters, high attenuation and slow sedimentation.
- SafAle S-04 – fast English ale strain with balanced fruit and rapid sedimentation.
- SafAle S-33 – fruity ale strain promoting body and mouthfeel in Belgian, strong and hazy styles.
- SafAle US-05 – clean American ale strain that leaves malt and hops prominent.
Important: Yeast strains are not interchangeable. Use the pitching rate, temperature and handling directions for the exact sachet and recipe.
