Lion Dark Ale

Lion Dark Ale is a complex, full-flavoured dark beer built from lager, caramalt, crystal, chocolate and roasted malts. Green Bullet and Pacific Gem provide balanced bitterness beneath its dark malt character.

• Bitterness: approximately 16 IBU.
• Colour: approximately 25 SRM.
• Approximate ABV: 4.5% when made with 1 kg liquid brewing sugar.
• Designed for a standard beer-kit batch.

What to use with this kit

• Brewtec Liquid Brewing Sugar – 1 kg for the stated, straightforward fermentable option.
• Black Rock Unhopped Dark for more colour, malt richness and body; the higher malt load may benefit from an additional yeast sachet.
