A ruby-brown ale kit with toast, caramel, medium bitterness and included ale yeast.
What to use with this kit
Use 1.5kg Brick Road Light Malt, or amber/dark malt for extra colour. For a lighter beer use 1kg light DME or dextrose; 500g lactose adds sweetness without extra alcohol.
Helpful information
Follow the kit instructions and confirm fermentation is complete before bottling.
Compare Brick Road classic beer styles
These kits make clearly different styles. Compare colour, malt character and bitterness, then use the fermentable option and brewing directions specified for the kit you select.
- Brick Road Gold Draught – light-gold draught ale with grainy malt and moderate bitterness.
- Brick Road Red Ale – amber-red ale with caramel, toffee and a slightly dry finish.
- Brick Road Wheat Beer – cloudy wheat beer with citrus and coriander-spice character.
Important: Ingredients and directions differ between kits. Follow the instructions supplied with the product you buy.
