Compare Gladfield pale base malts
Gladfield Pilsner Malt is slightly darker at 3.2–4 EBC and gives a clean malty character. Gladfield German Pilsner Malt is 3–4.5 EBC with a crisp, clean, non-biscuity profile for styles such as Bohemian pilsner. Choose Lager Light when the palest 2.5–2.9 EBC colour is the priority for an all-malt lager or delicate wheat beer.
