Brick Road IPA

Brick Road IPA combines a clean, hop-forward ale profile with a fresh light-malt base. American ale yeast is included.

What to use with this kit

• Fuller and maltier: add 1.5kg Brick Road Light Malt.
• Lighter and drier: use 1kg dextrose.

Follow the kit instructions for batch volume and fermentation.

Helpful additions

The kit can be brewed as supplied. For a customised aroma, add a measured 30–200g of hops suited to your preferred IPA style; more is not automatically better.

Other Brick Road pale and IPA styles

• Brick Road Hazy Pale Ale – a wheat-led hazy base with hazy ale yeast.
• Brick Road XPA – an extra-light, clean and dry pale ale.
• Brick Road Pale Ale – a classic pale ale with flexible strength and dry-hop options.

These kits differ in grain base, yeast, fermentable quantity and suggested dry-hop rate. Select the style first, then follow that can’s standard, fuller-malt or lower-alcohol method.
