For the lower-carb method, add a 3g glucoamylase sachet with the yeast as directed. Optional dry hopping of up to 30g can add aroma. Confirm stable gravity before packaging.
Other Brick Road lager and pilsner styles
- Brick Road Dry Lager – a light lager with mild bitterness and a dry finish.
- Brick Road Gold Lager – a clean lager with slightly more pale-malt sweetness.
- Brick Road Kolsch – a very pale beer fermented with European ale yeast.
- Brick Road Mexican Cervesa – a pale, clean Mexican-style lager.
- Brick Road Pilsner Blonde – a pale European-style pilsner with a dry finish.
These styles use different yeast types, fermentables, dry-hop options and optional enzyme methods. Follow the exact can recipe and do not transfer the Kolsch ale-yeast or lower-carb instructions between products.
