Black Rock Lager makes a classic Dutch-style lager with pale malt character, balanced bitterness and a clean, refreshing finish. Green Bullet and Pacific Jade hops provide the characteristic bitterness and aroma.

• Bitterness: approximately 20 ± 2 EBU

What to use with this kit

Your fermentable choice changes the result:

• Dextrose – 1kg keeps the lager lighter-bodied and crisp.
• Black Rock Unhopped Ultra Light produces a fuller malt flavour and more body than simple sugar.

Follow the can instructions, keep fermentation within the yeast’s recommended range and confirm gravity is stable before packaging.
