A top-fermenting ale yeast that builds full body and rich dark-fruit character in malt-led beer styles.
Best suited to
Use it for Scottish heavy ales, American amber ales, sweet stouts and similar full-flavoured beers. One 10g sachet is suitable for up to 23 litres of wort.
Fermentation guidance
Sprinkle directly onto the wort and ferment at 18-22 degrees C for best results. The strain has medium attenuation and high flocculation. Store the unopened sachet in the fridge.

- M36 Liverty Bell Ale for hoppy English and American pale ales, ESB and golden ales with light fruity esters at 18–23°C.
- M42 New World Strong Ale for a relatively neutral, very highly flocculant option that keeps malt and hops prominent at 16–22°C.
- M44 US West Coast for clean, hop-forward American pale ales, IPAs and double IPAs at 18–23°C.
