Brick Road DME Amber

$26.90

A 1kg pack of Brick Road Amber dried malt extract, particularly suited to amber, red and brown ales while remaining useful across many beer styles.

Out of stock

Brick Road DME Amber is a 1kg unhopped dried malt extract suited particularly to amber, red and brown ales, while remaining useful in other compatible beer recipes.

How to use

Use it in place of dextrose, sugar or beer enhancer when a recipe calls for additional malt fermentables, or use it to increase gravity in an all-grain recipe. Mix thoroughly with water and follow the quantities specified by your beer kit or recipe.

Helpful information

This is a malt extract ingredient rather than a complete beer kit. Yeast, hops and any other additions depend on the recipe being brewed.

Compare Brick Road dry and hopped malt extracts

Dry malt extract and hopped liquid malt perform different jobs. The DME products add fermentable malt without preset bitterness; the hopped extracts already contribute malt colour and bitterness. Follow the quantities and balance in your chosen recipe.

Brick Road DME Dark – 1kg unhopped dark dry malt extract for stout, porter and dark ales.
Brick Road Hopped Amber Malt – 1.5kg hopped amber liquid malt with medium bitterness.
Brick Road Hopped Dark Malt – 1.5kg hopped dark liquid malt for darker ales, stout and porter.
Brick Road Hopped Light Malt – 1.5kg hopped light liquid malt with low-to-medium bitterness.

Important: Follow the directions and ingredient quantities for the exact kit or recipe you choose.
