Black Rock Draught

Black Rock Classic Draught is a full-bodied, easy-drinking New Zealand-style brown beer. Crystal and darker specialty malts contribute caramel, chocolate and a light roasted note, balanced by moderate Green Bullet hop bitterness.

Typical result

• Approximate bitterness: 25 IBU
• Approximate colour: 12 SRM
• Approximate alcohol: 4.5% ABV when brewed with 1kg liquid brewing sugar as directed

What to use with this kit

• Cleaner finish: use 1kg brewing sugar or Dextrose.
• More body and malt flavour: use Black Rock Unhopped Ultra Light in place of sugar.
• Supplier’s fuller option: pair the unhopped malt with SafAle US-05 Yeast.

The kit includes yeast under the lid for the standard brewing method.
