Black Rock NZ Bitter

Originally brewed in England for the long voyage to New Zealand. Rich, strong and tasty.

Black Rock New Zealand Company Bitter is a rich full-bodied, brown beer for beer drinkers who like the strong taste of a real beer. The British created the New Zealand Company in 1839 to settle the colony.

This beer is similar to an English Best Bitter. This stronger-tasting beer is both satisfying and thirst-quenching with full-bodied malt character from the Crystal and Black specialty malts balanced with a moderate bitterness.

Malts – lager,crystal,black malt
Hops – Green Bullet, Pacific Jade
Water
Yeast (under the lid)
Caramel
Hop extracts may be present.

Typical Analysis: 25+/-3 EBC (Colour), 30+/-4 EBU (Bitterness)

Enhance the natural malt flavour of your brew with 1kg of:
Dextrose, Liquid Brewing Sugar, Brew Enhancer or Coopers Enhancer
Or, for more body, colour and malt flavour use (may want to consider using an extra yeast packet):
Black Rock Unhopped Light, Pure Liquid Malt Extract 1.5kg, Black Rock Unhopped Amber or Pure Liquid Malt Amber Extract 1.5kg
