Alcotec Turbo 6 Yeast

Alcotec Turbo 6 is a fast, dependable turbo yeast and nutrient blend for a 25-litre spirit wash. It is designed to ferment 6–7 kg of sugar in about three days when the wash is kept within its recommended temperature range.

Mixing instructions

1. Add 21 litres of water at approximately 30°C to a suitable fermenter.
2. Dissolve 6–7 kg of sugar completely.
3. Add the full sachet and mix as directed.
4. Ferment at 20–30°C; approximately 25°C is the preferred target.
5. Confirm fermentation has finished before clearing or distilling.

Helpful addition

Once fermentation is complete and the wash has been degassed, Alcotec Clear 24 Turbo Klar can help settle yeast and suspended solids before careful transfer.
