How to use light liquid malt extract

Use it as the malt base for an extract-brewing recipe, or in place of simple brewing sugar where a compatible kit recipe allows. Compared with dextrose, it generally adds more malt flavour, body and final gravity and may change the finished alcohol level.

Follow a measured recipe rather than assuming a one-for-one sugar substitution in every beer.
