Black Rock Wheat

Black Rock Wheat, previously called Whispering Wheat, makes a lively golden wheat beer with a fresh fruity character. The extract uses approximately 52.8% New Zealand wheat malt and 47.2% pilsner malt, balanced with Green Bullet and Pacific Jade hops.

What to use with this kit

• Coopers Brew Enhancer 2 – 1kg: adds body while retaining a balanced finish.
• Dextrose – 1kg: produces a lighter, drier result.

Brewing yeast is supplied under the lid. Typical analysis is approximately 5 ± 2 EBC colour and 16 ± 2 EBU bitterness. Follow the kit directions for batch volume and fermentation.

Other Black Rock wheat beer style

• Black Rock Crafted Coriander and Orange Witbier – a wheat beer with coriander and orange character.

Both are wheat-based beer kits, but the witbier adds coriander-and-orange character and uses a different recommended malt combination. Follow the selected can’s own recipe.
