Key features:

Connects to 2″ tri-clamp distilling accessories
304 grade stainless steel construction
High temperature resistant food grade silicone

INSTRUCTIONS: Insert Straight Section into your distilling system ensuring the silicone gasket is placed in the tri-clamp connection. Secure with a tri-clamp.

CLEANING BEFORE USE: Rinse all components with fresh, clean water before the first distillation run.

CLEANING AFTER USE: If needed, thoroughly rinse the section to remove any wash or debris. Use a non-scented brewery cleaner and a soft brush to remove any stubborn debris.

CAUTION: After distillation is complete, the surface will be very hot. Allow to cool before handling.

What’s Included:

Straight Section
2″ Tri-clamp
2″ Silicone Gasket

Specifications:

Dimensions: H 30.0 cm x W 5.1 cm x D 5.1 cm
Weight: 0.583 kg

NOTE: The Still Spirits Boiler Lid and Alembic Dome are designed primarily for small to medium-sized distilling setups that do not have heavy, off-centre attachments. The lid and dome are reasonably flexible and sturdy enough to fit components that are within the following specifications:

A total column & condenser height up to 1.1 m (3.6 ft) from the lid or dome.
A total column & condenser weight up to 11 kg (24 lbs), including up to 2 kg (4.4 lbs) of off-centre weight from a swan neck, lyne arm, or condenser running in parallel with the column and offset up to 160 mm (6”) to the main column.

We recommend external support if:

Your column & condenser exceeds the above specifications.
The lyne arm is not vertical but angled or perpendicular running away from the column, resulting in significantly distant off-centre weight.
If the column & condenser is noticeably leaning.

Compare Create+ modular sections

Sight Glass Bubble Plate – visual reflux component.
Straight Section – extends a compatible column.
90-degree Elbow Section – redirects vapour flow.
Vented Collection Cup – connects collection tubing while retaining an open vent.

These are modular components, not a universal required sequence. Plan the complete arrangement, include the supplied seals and clamps as specified, and keep within the equipment’s height, weight and off-centre-load limits.

The Create+ Beeping Alarm Thermometer & Bracket is listed for compatible 2-inch straight tubes; confirm probe and bracket placement against the planned arrangement.
