The Pure Distilling Alembic Copper Dome & Condenser bundle is designed to produce high quality distilled water, hydrosols, and flavoursome spirits. When paired with the 25L Boiler, the Alembic Condenser retains and enhances the flavours and aromas from a wash, making it ideal for crafting spirits like whiskey, bourbon, rum, and gin.

Pure Distilling Alembic Copper Dome Details:

Crafted from premium 99.7% copper and built at nearly double the weight of many competing domes, the Alembic Copper Dome is designed for serious distillers chasing cleaner, smoother spirits.

Fitting directly on top of your boiler in place of the standard lid, the dome increases copper contact during distillation. This added copper exposure helps bind and remove unwanted sulphur compounds, resulting in a noticeably higher-quality spirit with improved aroma, flavour, and mouthfeel.

Traditionally inspired alembic shaping also encourages gentle reflux inside the dome, helping refine vapours before they reach your condenser. The result is a more polished final product without sacrificing the character of your wash.

Purpose-built for use with the Pot Condenser, the Alembic Dome is ideal for producing flavour-forward spirits such as whisky, rum, brandy, and gin. It also pairs perfectly with a Proofing Parrot for real-time ABV monitoring during your run.

The Pot Condenser is perfect for enthusiasts looking to produce flavour-forward spirits such as grain-based whiskies, gin, rum, vodka, fruit brandies and more!

Designed to retain the character of your wash, the Pot Condenser allows natural flavours from fruits, grains, and molasses to carry through into your finished spirit. In contrast, the Reflux Condenser will strip flavour to produce neutral alcohol. If you’re chasing authentic, full-bodied spirits, the Pot Condenser is the way to go.

We recommend using both elements to heat up the wash to quickly achieve a rolling boil, once the desired temperature is reached we turn off the 500w element – leaving the 1700w on at all times to maintain a good head of steam
