Italian Barrel Tap

This Italian-style barrel tap is supplied with its locknut and sealing washers for fitting to a compatible plastic fermenter or container.

Compatibility and fitting

• Suitable mounting-hole diameter: approximately 25mm
• Tap, locknut and washers included
• Designed for suitable plastic vessel walls

Confirm the hole diameter and available flat sealing surface before ordering. Fit the washers in their intended positions and tighten only enough to form a leak-free seal; overtightening can distort the washer or damage the vessel.

Compare the tap style

The English Barrel Tap is another approximately 25mm fermenter-tap style, but the thread and sealing arrangement can differ. Treat the two as alternatives to compare rather than interchangeable replacements.

Water-test for leaks, then clean and sanitise all drink-contact surfaces before use.
