Essencia Super 6 Ultra Pure Yeast – 100g

Essencia Super 6 Ultra Pure is a clean, urea-free and low-odour professional distiller’s yeast for producing a 25L neutral wash. It is temperature tolerant and suitable for larger stacked fermentations when used according to the supplier directions.

Standard method

1. Dissolve 6kg white sugar or dextrose in 10L hot water.
2. Top up to 25L with cold water, bringing the wash to 25–35°C.
3. Add the full 100g yeast sachet and stir in.
4. Maintain 20–35°C; approximately 28°C is optimal.
5. Allow around 5–7 days and confirm a final specific gravity of 0.988 or below.

The expected wash strength is approximately 13–17%, depending on conditions and fermentable choice.
