Edwards Coconut Rum

Edwards Coconut Rum combines fresh coconut with Jamaican-style rum character for a sweet tropical liqueur.

What else you will need

• 850ml vodka or 38% neutral spirit
• 350g sugar or sweetener, or about 400ml simple syrup, adjusted to taste
• 260ml water

Add the 50ml essence and mix thoroughly to make approximately 1.4 litres. It can also be used with a compatible cream base for a richer variation.

Alternative coconut rum liqueur essence

• Top Shelf Coconut Rum makes 1.125 litres with 620ml of 40% neutral spirit or vodka and a separately prepared Top Shelf Liqueur Base B. Its recipe and yield differ from this Edwards essence.
