A velvety ruby style port, with great elegance and perfume. Best served at 12-16C.
Dissolve a packet of Still Spirits Base B in 750ml of red wine (Merlot).
Add this essence and 770ml of 40% ABV distilled spirit or vodka.
Top up to 2.25L and add sugar to taste if sweeter port is desired.
Makes three 750ml bottles (2.25L total).
