Plastic Jug – 5L

This 5L plastic jug is a useful general-purpose item for measuring and transferring water and other suitable liquids during brewing, winemaking and cleaning.

Helpful uses

• Measure water additions
• Mix cleaning or sanitising solutions at the labelled dilution
• Transfer liquids where a compact, handled vessel is easier than a bucket

Avoid liquids hotter than the jug is rated to handle, and do not use brewing equipment for incompatible household chemicals. Clean it promptly after use and sanitise it whenever it will contact cooled wort, must or finished drink.

Choose the jug capacity

The 5L jug reduces the number of fills needed for larger water additions and cleaning solutions. For smaller additions or more controlled pouring, compare the 3L Plastic Jug. Use separate, clearly identified equipment for any incompatible chemicals.
