Mangrove Jacks Mead Starter Kit

The Mangrove Jack’s Mead Starter Kit includes all the equipment, yeast, and nutrient required to get you started on your mead making journey.

Suitable for a variety of recipes, all you need to do is add honey and water to make up to 2.5 L of your very own mead.

What’s Included:

• 1 x Gallon Glass Jar with Lid & Grommet Airlock
• 1 x Mangrove Jack’s Craft Series Mead Yeast M05 10g
• 1 x Mangrove Jack’s Mead Yeast Nutrient 12g
• 1 x Handcraft Supplies No Rinse Sanitiser 25g
• 1 x Easy Syphon + tubing

Mixing Instructions:

1. Clean and sanitise the jar, lid, airlock, and a mixing spoon.
2. Place the stick on thermometer on the jar.
3. Add honey to the jar as per your recipe requirements.
4. Add water and mix until the honey is dissolved.
5. Add yeast and nutrient as per your recipe requirements.
6. Allow to ferment, adding more nutrient as fermentation progresses as per your recipe requirements.
7. Once fermentation is complete and the mead has cleared, clean and sanitise the syphon and use it to transfer the clear mead to a bottle, taking care not to disturb the sediment in the bottom of the jar.
