What is included

Instant sourdough starter culture, artisan salt, muslin cloth, dough scraper, dough whisk and recipes for original, wholemeal, fruit and gluten-free sourdough. One culture sachet can make a double batch.

Helpful information

You will also need the flour, water, mixing bowl and covered oven dish specified by the recipe. Allow approximately 20 hours for fermentation and rising.

For future sourdough batches

Once you have the kit tools, the Mad Millie Sourdough Culture provides three instant-culture sachets for further recipes. Use the quantity stated in the selected recipe; the culture is an ingredient refill and does not include the kit’s tools, salt or muslin cloth.
