Mixing and ageing
Add the flavouring to the quantity and strength of neutral spirit specified on the bottle and mix thoroughly. Rest the finished blend for at least seven days before assessing it.
Longer resting can help the oak and vanilla notes integrate. Taste after ageing before making any fine adjustment to the flavour concentration.
