English Barrel Tap

A tapered-thread tap for compatible plastic fermenters with an approximately 25mm tap hole.

Before fitting

Confirm the vessel hole diameter, wall thickness, thread arrangement and required seals before ordering. Fit the correct seals in their intended order and tighten only enough to seal without distorting the fermenter.

Compare the tap style

The Italian Barrel Tap is supplied with a locknut and washers for a suitable approximately 25mm opening. The thread and sealing arrangements can differ, so treat these taps as alternatives to compare rather than interchangeable replacements.

Helpful information

Water-test for leaks before use, then clean and sanitise every surface that will contact the drink.
