Distiller’s Nutrient Light Spirits

Still Spirits Distiller’s Nutrient – Light Spirits supplies the nutrients needed for clean sugar, potato or molasses washes used to make vodka, gin and other light spirits. This 450g pack is suitable for fermentations up to 25L.

Dosing guide

• Sugar wash up to 15% ABV: 150g, approximately 190ml or 11 capfuls
• Potato wash: 100g, approximately 130ml or 7 capfuls
• Molasses wash: 100g, approximately 130ml or 7 capfuls

What else you will need

This product is a nutrient rather than a yeast. Add it at the same time as a suitable light-spirit distiller’s yeast, stir thoroughly, and follow the yeast’s temperature and fermentation instructions.

Compatible yeast options

• Distiller’s Yeast Gin is selected for a clean base intended for gin and other botanical spirits.
• Distiller’s Yeast Vodka is selected for a neutral vodka-style base.

Both are yeast-only products and already require this Light Spirits nutrient. Choose for the spirit style being made and follow the matching recipe.
