Quick answer: choose the appliance-only Kegmaster if you already own compatible kegs and want to configure the connections yourself. Choose the package with two 19L Cornelius-style kegs if you want the clearest route to a two-keg homebrew setup. Either product lets you add a full 3.4L CO₂ cylinder to the same freight shipment.

Which type of keg setup suits you?
A full-size two-tap kegerator
Best when you regularly keg full homebrew batches, want two drinks available at once, or prefer a tidy refrigerated cabinet rather than converting a fridge. A twin-tap unit also lets you serve two beer styles, or beer and another compatible kegged drink, at different times without swapping the serving line.
A portable or mini-keg setup
Best for smaller batches, taking beer away from home or getting started with less cabinet space. Browse the kegging range for mini kegs and portable dispensing options.
The two Kegmaster options
Kegmaster Premium XL 2 Tap Kegerator
The appliance-only Kegmaster Premium XL is the better fit if you already have kegs or want to choose them separately.
- Includes the refrigerated cabinet with rollers, preassembled two-tap font, two UltraTap faucets, gas line, MKX regulator, font fan, internal light and rear gas-cylinder bracket.
- Flexible cabinet capacity: up to four 19L Cornelius kegs, two 20L PET kegs plus one 19L Cornelius keg, three 20L commercial kegs, or one 50L commercial keg.
- Choose the kegerator by itself or add the full 3.4L CO₂ cylinder using the product-page selector. You still need suitable kegs and connections that match your keg type.
Kegmaster Premium XL 2 Tap Kegerator + 2 Kegs
The Kegmaster package with two kegs adds two 19L Cornelius-style kegs. It is the simpler choice for a first two-tap homebrew system. You can add the full CO₂ cylinder from the same product page; compatible gas and liquid connections and a complete leak test are still required.
Measure the space before ordering
The cabinet is approximately 610mm wide and 660mm deep. Allow about 850mm height with the supplied rollers, plus clear space above for the font and room behind for ventilation and hoses. Also plan how the unit will reach its final position; these models are dispatched directly from the Auckland supplier by freight.
Kegerator parts checklist
- Cold cabinet and taps: included with both Kegmaster options.
- Kegs: included only with the two-keg package; otherwise choose compatible homebrew or commercial kegs.
- CO₂ cylinder: required for normal operation. A full 3.4L cylinder can be selected with either Kegmaster and sent in the same freight shipment; it cannot be couriered separately.
- Regulator: an MKX regulator is included with these two Kegmaster options.
- Gas and liquid connections: match the disconnects or coupler to the exact keg type.
- Lines and fittings: confirm every gas and beverage connection before assembly; do not assume fittings from another system will match.
- Cleaning supplies: keep dedicated line cleaner, sanitiser and tap-cleaning tools on hand.
Homebrew kegs or commercial kegs?
Cornelius-style homebrew kegs commonly use separate ball-lock gas and liquid posts. They are convenient for filling with your own beer and are easy to move and clean.
Commercial kegs use a coupler matched to the keg supplied by the brewery. Confirm the coupler type before buying connections; a cabinet being large enough for the keg does not mean the existing fittings will connect to it.
A sensible first setup
- Decide what you will serve and how many kegs you want cold at once.
- Choose the appliance-only model or the package with two 19L kegs.
- Select whether the full CO₂ cylinder should travel with the kegerator.
- Match every disconnect, coupler and line to the chosen keg system.
- Clean and sanitise all product-contact parts.
- Chill the keg fully before judging pressure or foam.
- Connect the gas, perform a proper leak test, then set and adjust pressure using the equipment and beverage guidance.
- Clean the beer lines and taps regularly rather than waiting for flavour or flow problems.
Why a kegerator pours foam
Warm beer, an over-pressurised keg, an unbalanced beverage line or a warm font can all contribute. Change one variable at a time. Start with a fully chilled keg, check for leaks and restrictions, and avoid repeatedly venting or changing pressure without diagnosing the system.
Safety and compatibility
CO₂ cylinders must be secured upright, kept away from heat and handled according to the cylinder supplier’s instructions. Use pressure-rated parts only. If you are unsure whether a regulator, disconnect, coupler or line is compatible, ask us before connecting it.
